A World Without Limits is a modern day fantasy comic set in Seattle, where myths and legends are just everyday reality. Ten people, some of them strangers, some of them friends are drawn together through chance, differences, adversity, desire and mutual circumstance. Gradually they become entwined in each other’s lives and will have to learn to rely and trust each other in times to come.
The comic is produced by two people, Rae and Towa. Both co-operatively write the script before Rae sketches and outlines the panels, leaving Towa to colour them. This joint project has been a dream of both parties for some time and 2012, for some unknown reason, seems to have been the turning point.
By day Towa roams the countryside, staring at cows, riding tractors and playing with chainsaws. At night Towa camps in front of her evil computer and talks endlessly to Rae, often getting to bed far later than is healthy. When older Towa plans to spend their last days running riot in the same home on motorised zimmer-frames and generally being lunatics.
Rae on the other hand spends her days flitting between obsessions, catering to ungrateful little sods as a waitress and lounging around eating too many tortilla chips. By night however she is the BatFlash Queen, the scarlet caped crusader with far too many muses on a mission to take over the world with her BatFlash ways. She seems to be succeeding on some level.
